We're a battle calculator free pokemon mystery dungeon roleplay that doesn't pester you to keep track of hunger, power points, or paths in a dungeon as we are focused on the roleplay more so than the mechanics. Characters can be anything from a representative of their country to a lowly outlaw that's just trying to get by. We have our own lore and an entire section called "The Encyclopedia" dedicated to explaining the world around our characters that'll be updated more and more as time goes on!

Overall, Kino is rather easygoing. She has a positive attitude towards life, she's friendly, and as a bonus, she has a sense of humour. However, she can be stubborn and she has a tendency to be easily irritated. She's also laidback - which can lead to a passive, uncaring-like attitude as well as a relaxed nature. That, and her quietness can be a slight hindrance at times.

Yay, friends! Kino is easy to befriend, though if you prove to be super irritating to her then she isn't going to consider you to be a very close friend. Her tendency to look on your good side will let you stay a friend in her books until she can't be positive about you anymore for whatever reason.

The most surefire way to get onto Kino's bad side is to make yourself as irritating as possible. That, and betraying her, stealing from her, or otherwise proving to her you're not worth your good side.

Eh... Kino isn't really interested in this kind of thing. She'll probably be oblivious to any flirting attempts because she struggles to read your body language, unless it is obvious. If the stars align for you, then you may be lucky enough to worm your way into her heart, but nine out of ten she'd rather be a close friend. Bonus points if you're cool with a platonic relationship, without the sexual stuff.

Valen & Kino To be frank, I make no promises that the little albino fluffball won't be a pain in the rear; he tends to be, for various reasons. Like bugging folks (and flirting) just 'cause.
Still, Eevees/Eeveelutions unite? o.o; Or... something like that. I could see them being something of a clash (his high energy and liking to move around, her quiet and liking the still), so we could always work something out if you're up for tossing them together?
Yeah they'd props clash but maybe not? Valen would probably irritate Kino but she'd be willing to still look on his good side in that case... Anywho I'd love to throw these two in a thread together regardless, see how it plays out c:
Shouldn't be too hard for her to, considering how plainly honest Valen is (even if that itself can make him into a bit of a pain sometimes). Maybe he could run into her (literally or figuratively) sometime during the night? Considering she likes such times, and his stark white fur would make him stick out like a sore thumb.
Winterworks Kino and Akaren would make an interesting merting, I think. Where Akaren is pessimistic, Kino is optimistic, and while Kino is largely passive, Akaren is way more agressive.
Besides that, however, they're rather similar, in that they're both allergic to society. Essentially, Akaren's a darker, cranky mirror to Kino.
I can see a meeting between them going two ways. Either they hit it off pretty well, and become friends who band together against society's injustices due to their similar tastes. Or they can go completely the other way, their antisocialness ruining each other's lives. And since they're both explorers they'd have plenty of opportunity to meet.
Or some entirely different direction.
I was thinking we might throw them in a social dungeon thread where one/both of them is hopelessly lost and needs helf finding their way out, but if you've got any other ideas, I'm completely open to them! Probs shouldn't plot when half-asleep.
Lyric It certainly sounds like a meeting between them would be interesting~ Considering Kino's passive nature and optimism applies to others as well she'll probably be willing to give Akaren a chance even if things go awry. Akaren's pessimism will get on Kino's nerves however but whether that will be a problem we'll have to see c:
I like that social dungeon thread idea. Considering Akaren doesn't like the night while Kino loves it, perhaps Akaren is lost somewhere at night and Kino helps her on one of her nightly walks/excursions in a dungeon? Though i like the idea that they're both lost and even if they dont hit off they still have to work together?

Winterworks yup, the second option seems to be a pretty good first thread to throw them into. Since they're both explorers, they could have been partnering up for a while before they realised when they were lost, which means they probably already have bad experiences with each other? It could be potentially very interesting for them to work up from a bad relationship into possible semi-friendship?
It'll be brilliant for the thread to be at night, I think, just to push Akaren further from her comfort zone, and become more irritating as well as scared irritable.
