We're a battle calculator free pokemon mystery dungeon roleplay that doesn't pester you to keep track of hunger, power points, or paths in a dungeon as we are focused on the roleplay more so than the mechanics. Characters can be anything from a representative of their country to a lowly outlaw that's just trying to get by. We have our own lore and an entire section called "The Encyclopedia" dedicated to explaining the world around our characters that'll be updated more and more as time goes on!

The typical treat others the way you want to be treated ruling. Do not harass other members or be a jerk and you'll be good. If some kind of beef is started up between members, please keep it out of the cbox and in a more private chat. If someone is harassing you, don't delete the messages and report them to a staff member. Keep in mind that a character's actions and views does not reflect the rper's own views and opinions!
2.) OOC ACCOUNTS
We go by Account Per Character here in order to keep things nice and simple. You are required to have an OOC Account, so I suggest you make that account first before making your character's account. You will be posting your application with your CHARACTER'S account. Please do not name your OC the same as your OOC account. It's not against the rules, but we would rather you not to avoid confusion.
3.) ADVERTISING
Keep the advertisements to the plug board. This include the little "website" feild in your profile. You can put say your tumblr or your twitter there, but keep other roleplaying websites strictly to the plug board.
4.) PROPER ENGLISH
We need to be able to read your post without our eyes burning. Don't put periods where commas are supposed to be, use your spell check, and heck you could even download or look up a program to do grammar and spell checks for you. English may be a difficult language, but there are many programs out there that help with this. Do NOT use text speak in your roleplay posts.
If you use a different language in your post, whether it's an ooc, rp, or cbox, provide a translation for it. This is an English forum, so English is to be used.
5.) THE TERMS OF SERVICE RULE
Nothing you wouldn't see on TV folks, keep the sexually explicit to a 0 though.
6.) ACTIVITY AND CHARACTERS
While there is no limit on how many characters you can have, if you're making 3 within your first few days we're going to have to stop you there until you can prove you can handle those characters. There will be an Activity Check every now and then, but accounts WILL NOT BE DELETED if they go inactive. They will simply be moved into an Inactive category along with their applications. If you come back and want to be active again, you may pick up right where you left off.

8.) SPAM
Who even likes SPAM? It's so disgusting and it's just a can of precooked meat! In all seriousness, keep the Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages to a zero. Double posting, while not allowed in the RP Boards, is allowed so long as there's a purpose. If you want to "Bump" something, you may only do so once a week. Even then, put something relating to the topic other than "Bump" please.
Humans? They don't exist. Ever. Your character cannot have previously been human, be a human, or anything of the sort. Your character also cannot be a legendary or mythical pokemon. This includes Ultra Beasts!
2.) CHARACTER BEGINNING BASICS
During our first week of opening, we had a promotion where created characters could be evolved. After that promotion is done, characters must begin at their most basic stage unless they can be bred as their evolved form in the most recent games.
All characters start off at level 10 except Militia/Explorers who start at level 15, if your character is capable of evolution by that level then they are permitted to evolve.
All characters are permitted 1 Egg Move upon creation EXCEPT Civilians who are permitted 2.
You are permitted 1 Ability of the few your character's species may have, this can be a hidden ability if you so desire.
You are permitted 1 free shiny character upon joining, after that you must purchase your next one through the shop.
3.) POKEMON SPECIFIC RULES
Be sure to read Pokemon Specific Rules and check to see if the pokemon you desire to make is included in the Controversial Pokemon List. If you make any of those pokemon, be sure to actually reflect the attitude towards the pokemon. We understand all pokemon don't think the same, but it's not likely for a Ditto to just be handed a powerful position without some kind of history to back it up.
4.) MARY SUE/GARY STU
Nobody likes them, so please don't make them. Any Mary/Gary sues are going to be rejected and sent to "The Forsaken" board. Remember to keep your flaws believable, being "Too cute" is not a flaw and neither is "A little bit clumsy." Be sure to keep physical traits and such out of the personality.
Keep special snowflakes out of the mix as well. Nobody's immune to the effects of a Mega Stone, no pokemon is going to be some legitimate prophet of arceus or chosen one to protect Jirachii, no pokemon is even going to be contacted by one of the legends let alone see one unless it's a site event.
5.) PLAY FAIR
While this is very much a free-form rp in terms of battles, be fair when you're battling especially with items. Do not god mod, powerplay, or anything of the sort. A level 20 lucario should not beat a level 59 volcarona alone in two hits under the reason of "they got serious" and yes, I have seen this happen before.
Yes, we have one. Every post must at least be 100 words. If a mod spots a post that is less than 100 then they will post on the thread putting a stop to it and requesting the user to fix their word count. It's not that hard to do.
Solo-Dungeon threads and one-shots must at least be 500 words a post. Brutal? Maybe, but this is a roleplaying site not a substitute for the games.
2.) PROFILE FIELDS
When your character is accepted, the mod will create a log for your character. You MUST put this log in your profile field for easy access! In order to do this, go to your profile and click "Edit Profile" then click "Personal" and fill out the forms there.
3.) LIQUID TIME
Your character cannot literally be in two places at once, but that doesn't mean you're allowed to have only one thread at a time. We go by Liquid Time here, so don't worry about being unable to do any more threads once you have one up.
4.) DUNGEON THREADS
You may only have ONE thread that takes place in an actual dungeon at a time for each character. Social threads in non-dungeon areas are limitless.
5.) POSTING ORDER
You must have some type of posting order in order in your thread when you have more than two people. We don't care how whether it's a solid set or every one posts once in any order after a specific person. Everyone needs their fair share of posts.
If someone does not post in three days, you are permitted to skip them unless they state you can at an earlier date.
If someone does not post in a week on a dungeon thread they can be booted and you are permitted to continue with whoever's left. If it was just you and that person, then you may choose to either continue solo or forfeit the dungeon.
Keep it off the chatbox as stated in the very first rule of this thread.
2.) SPAM VS MULTI-POSTING
We do not appreciate spam in the cbox and prefer that you avoid it. We understand that you may think of things as you type but don't rapid fire letters or single words.
3.) CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECTS
Keep it out of the cbox. If someone is uncomfortable with a subject and requests a change then please do so.
