For a Charmander, Honou is surprisingly small. She stands only a foot and a half high, and is rather scrawny. Her scales are an odd shade of orange, seeming to go between red and orange depending on how the light hits them. Her eyes aren't blue like many other Charmander, but are bright red, gleaming out from her scales.

Blackbird, for a fire-type Pokemon, is surprisingly quiet and calm. She is not quick to anger, and isn't loud when angry either. Instead, she is the 'quiet and dangerous' type, voice dropping into a low, calm hiss. However, there is one certain way to make her angry: insulting herself, her friends, or her team, or trying the attack any of the three. She prefers to spend time to herself, and works best on her own. She specializes in strategy, and plans ten steps ahead, like the Queen of the Chess board. Blackbird is quick to jump to the defense of others, and can't stand to see injustice. She isn't afraid to fight dirty, and often takes advantage of her dark scales to attack from behind.

Blackbird was born in Invictus, but didn't see much of it. Her mother died when she was young, and it set her father on a bad path. He became horrifically over-protective, refusing to let her leave their home. This crippled her socially, leading to her becoming fairly quiet and withdrawn, not certain what to say around other Pokemon. She snuck books when she could, and dreamed of becoming an explorer.



As soon as she was old enough, Blackbird ran away, and began to train herself. Because she'd been trapped inside for ages, she was weak, and it took years before she was 'normal'. She joined the military, and has never looked back, but fears being found by her father.
