Kade stands a few inches shorter than the average Sableye, and his body looks to be on the redder side of violet. Other than this, there aren't any noteworthy traits to distinguish him from any other Sableye. He is most often seen wearing his traveler's pack and a black bandana with a toothy, white grin hastily painted on.

Kade's personality can be difficult to interpret, largely due to his efforts to appear as duplicitous as possible, and usually with no clear benefit to himself. This tends to turn away others, (particularly those with an existing distrust for Ghost types) or at the very least instill a healthy skpeticism of him.

His amusement in seeing the reactions he can get in his fellow 'mon coupled with his outwardly shifty behavior tends to cause a bit of friction in whatever group he's in. However, Kade genuinely takes his work seriously and makes a point to not go as far as to hinder the success of a mission. Those who stick around despite his antics will find that Kade is a playful and relaxed individual whose charade weakens the more comfortable he is around someone.

While Kade aims to become more of an asset in combat, he generally prefers to find creative solutions rather than commit to a violent one. His fondness for dishonesty reflects further in his fighting style, where he makes up for his lack of strength with feints and misdirection.

Ultimately, Kade just likes to poke at others a bit and put up a front that he's more complicated than he actually is as he searches for an identity of his own.

Kade came into being within abandoned mine on the outskirts of Vindictus' capital with no memories of a past life or any indication of what purpose was sustaining him. From the very beginning, he a had a loose grip on his identity, knowing only his name. Alone in the darkness of that mine, he wondered what a ghost with no purpose was to do. The first week or so of his life was a surreal blur, pondering a sea of questions in empty darkness.

He could've spent years thinking on it, and might have never found the answer he was looking for. Kade decided he would find that answer elsewhere and made his way out. Leaving the mine behind, the sableye then ventured to the nearby capital city of Invictus.

He learned quickly that life here was not going to be as easy as he first thought. Most would have you believe that in today's world, Ghost types are just as readily accepted as any other type. Reality tells a different story. After a while, Kade got tired of fighting the stigma and just sort of accepted it. He found it easier to put up a front than try to convince them otherwise, and even made a game of it.

He spent quite a few years learning how his fellow mon's minds worked while coming into his own. He made a few friends among kindred souls in the city's own 'ghost district', a collection of run-down buildings where many of the city's ghost types took residence. Turns out, being dead has a few conveniences, such as the ability to live comfortably in less than ideal conditions. Also, the separation from other pokemon worked out fine for both parties.

For a while, Kade just lived day to day with his Mimikyu roommate, and that was all he needed. He'd cause a bit of harmless mischief now and then, but after a while, he began to question the point of it all. He had a second chance at living, and for what? He enjoyed being around his snarky, somewhat nihilistic Mimikyu buddy, but he couldn't deny that he was starting to want something more. He wanted to live, not just exist.

That's when he decided to try to become an explorer. His efforts were met with just a hint of suspicion, but ultimately, he was accepted into their ranks. He still didn't have a plan for his second life, but it was a step forward. Surely he'd find something out there...

The truth of Kade's previous life as a Meowstic is that he was part of a secret criminal organization that scouted out talented outlaws. He was particularly involved with heists and forgeries.
His mischievous demeanor and his "Egg" move (Trick) seem to have carried over to his new self, but Kade is not the malicious being he once was.
