While it is true that Alfher is a different colored Pawniard due to being shiny, being blue rather than red, he has some other minor changes to him. One of these particular changes is that rather than being 1"08 like your average Pawniard, he is 1"11 in height. Finally, one other notable difference is that much like his arms having knife-like blades at the end rather than hands, his feet also has knife-like blades where an ordinary Pawniard's toes would be. This addition gives Alfher even more choices of how he could possibly immobolize his foes. (As a Bisharp, the main differences would be that his hooves are much sharper than an ordinary Bisharp, and his retractable blades will be sharper and have spikes protruding from them.)

Alfher can be seen as your typical outlaw, caring mainly about money, and doing whatever it takes to obtain it. One can say that this makes him pretty unethical as he'll take even the most innocent of lives to get what he wants. In battle he is reckless, rather than strategizing he can be seen rushing in with his attacks in hopes of overpowering his enemies, believing that it is the only way to win. After all, he has lived his life mainly doing things on his own to secure his place in the pack he was previously in. If told to do something he doesn't want to do, he can be pretty stubborn.

Throughout his days growing up, Alfher didn't live a life of luxury, or even an average one despite being born in Invictus, instead, he lived a life of "crime." It was something that Alfher never really put much thought into. After all, he was born and raised by his other fellow Pawniard bretheren, who were governed by three other Pokemon called Bisharp, their evolved form. However, there was one Bisharp in particular who looked different than the rest, much like Alfher did as a Pawniard. This Bisharp would be known as the "alpha" of their pack, the one who made all of the decisons and rules.

Simply put, everyone who wasn't the alpha were expected to abide by all of the rules. If a member of their pack failed in one of their little runs to steal anything value such as food, they were either punished or banished. It was because he had these punishments engraved in his head that Alfher didn't care about something as silly as morals. All he cared about was his own wellbeing, and if he had to resort to stealing from innocent Pokemon, then that's exactly what he would do in order to survive.

While there were moments where he would team up with the other Pawniard to gather valuable items, there were more times where he isolated himself from others, due to the fear that he would be backstabbed by his so called "friends." He simply found it easy to do things on his own for the most part. The only times he really ever needed others was when he was absolutely certain that he couldn't do it on his own.

It didn't take too long for him to climb up the ranks of the pack, to the point where the other Pawniard and Bisharp respected him, believing that he would grow up to take the position of becoming the alpha of the pack. In fact, it was because he looked so different than the other Pawniard that other Pokemon thought that he was destined to become the alpha once he grew strong enough to take on the current one.

However, their pack was slowly breaking apart as time progressed. One event after another lead to a member of the pack being either killed or tossed in prison. Rather than continuing to govern the pack of Pawniard and Bisharp, the alpha simply vanished to leave everyone to fend for themselves in their time of need. It was because of this disappearance that the pack truly came to an end, leaving Alfher to fend off for himself in such an unfair world.
