Pokemon that face social issues
PORYGON/PORYGON2/PORYGONZ
Many ignorant pokemon tend to consider porygon soulless and incapable of their own thought. It's usually assumed that a Porygon has some sort of "master" to give it orders as it is treated akin to a robot rather than a pokemon. Pokemon are not quite afraid of Porygon itself, but more of what it can become.
Porygon2 has a bit more respect than its former form. While it's still treated like a very stupid robot, it's assumed to be much smarter than their previous form.
PorygonZ is a pokemon feared, for its great strength and intelligence make it a formidable foe. It's common knowledge that the Z-form is corrupted in some way. Many take favor in keeping their children away from such a pokemon as it's assumed to have lost whatever reason it may have had.
GOLETT/GOLURK AND BALTOY/CLAYDOL
Out of the artificial pokemon, Golett and Golurk are given more respect and even looked up to. They were created for the purposes of defense and are often assumed to be guards of some sort. It's not uncommon for a mother to hire a baltoy to help defend their child.
DITTO
Ditto is a strange one indeed, though many fail to trust it wholeheartedly. It's rare to see a ditto in position of power and if it is, it's often put under intense investigations on a frequent basis. The pokemon's ability to change form makes others uneasy has made it difficult for people to trust over the years and built up quite a harsh stereotype that Dittos are complete sociopaths who want nothing more than to complete the purpose the Beeheyem and Elgyem tribe had given them.
ZORUA/ZOROARK
While not quite as bad as ditto, Zorua and Zoroark are also considered untrustworthy by default for many. Their ability to create illusions and tricks of the eyes often cause them to avoid Zoroark and Zorua, so most have taken to living in nomadic packs.
SPIRITOMB
This is the kind of pokemon that just can't get a break. They're judged harshly by authorities and many tend to assume they are up to no good. Children are kept away from them at any cost in fear that one of the 108 souls that reside within might either consume their child or corrupt them. Fortunately, some pokemon have built up groups dedicated to helping Spiritomb gain more rights as pokemon being under the motto that no Spiritomb is the same and it's not uncommon for them to be regretful for their past mistakes that had gotten them sealed in the first place.
GHOST POKEMON IN GENERAL
These pokemon face quite a bit of hardships in life, especially if they are the result of a reincarnation. It's entirely possible for a pokemon to come back as a ghost, however, many years of propoganda against ghosts as lead the public to believe that they are spiteful and rotten beings who's sheer hatred for something had revived them. Recent activists have stood up for these pokemon as well, as it was factually revealed that it's just as common for a pokemon to be revived out of love and compassion. Either way, the reincarnation process takes far too long for the pokemon to fufill their last will, as whoever it may have been that caused their reincarnation is usually long dead.
FOSSIL POKEMON
Fossil pokemon are long dead pokemon that have "woken up" from death through the means of technology. A revived fossil can be no older than 40 in years since their revival while a bred fossil cannot be older than 20. These pokemon were created with the intent for war, so many are fearful that these pokemon have nothing but a taste for blood. They are not as feared as Type:Null, but controversy still surrounds them as they are the lucky ones who were able to temporarily defy death. It doesn't take a very big team of scientists to revive a fossil pokemon, but it's very difficult to hide as the pokemon retain the mind of their previous life and the bones of the fossil need to be excavated.
The most commonly revived fossil pokemon was Aerodactyl due to its ability to Mega Evolve.
Type:Null/Silvally
Want to start an argument? Bring up Type:Null. This pokemon practically stinks of conflict as it was purely created for the purposes of war. It's believed by many that they are capable of nothing but bloodlust. A Type:Null is generally more feared than it's evolution, as the mask is a sign that it has yet to become "stable."
When a Type:Null reaches the requirements for Happiness evolution, the mask is capable of sensing the content mind and pops right off. The masks were created in order to hinder the pokemon, as their potential power would not have mixed well with a broken mind. While the pokemon that created them were confident that the bodies were stable, the mind was a whole new story. You would never see a Type:Null in the positions of power greater than military.
Type:Null production began 30 years ago, however, successful productions only started 24 years ago. A defective Type:Null, one older than 24, is incapable of evolution as they have something horribly wrong with them that would prevent a stable mind. It's argued whether or not the elder Type:Null should be hunted and eradicated before they harm someone, but many argue against it and say that it's inhumane and an attempt to attack the Type:Null species as a whole.
Type:Null are still produced to this day behind closed doors. Many try to improve upon the design of the creature, but it seems that any other combinations of body parts simply lead to rejection or a lifespan of two or so days. All Type:Null are made with the intent to evolve into Silvally and become a soldier to serve their country. Any Silvally or Type:Null younger than 13 will be detained and brought into questioning by the White Dawn. No harm will come of them unless necessary in order to find out who created them as the production of Type:Null were banned. Many of the current Type:Null are taught to lie about their age in order to prevent this.
When a Type:Null finally evolves into Silvally, it is held to a much higher standard in behavior. Pokemon are less afraid of it now that the mask has proven that it is of a stable mind and more authoritative over it as if they can tell it what to do. They don't have as many rights as other pokemon. To the point where it is illegal for either Type:Null or Silvally that is under a political power to hurt anybody without the permission of a higher power and this includes self-defense.
Independent Type:Nulls and Silvallys, those who have run away from their creators or been released, are often far more greatly feared. It's believed that they are more likely to go berserk and harm someone.
While the delcatty and Silvally had managed to stop the legality of the pokemon's production, there is still much work to be done on the social aspect of this species's lives.
