A single action can have ripples all across the galaxy. A coded message can bring a group of unlikely heroes together, when delivered at the right moment. But what if the message is never read? Imagine a galaxy in which Galen Erso's call for help is never heard... The crew of the Rogue One still manage to find each other, but with no proof of Galen's supposed design flaw, they are unable to convince the fledgling Rebellion to attack Scarif. Doubting even themselves, the suicide mission never happens, and the crew of Rogue One, alive, go in to hiding with the Rebellion, hopping from planet to planet aimlessly, searching for a way to get a leg up on the Empire.
With no blueprints to jettison from her ship, Princess Leia Organa is never captured by the Empire, which unveils it's secret weapon, the Death Star, by destroying a mostly uninhabited planet called Hoth. With this show of power and mercy, more star systems fall in line behind the Empire, strengthening their grip on the galaxy and making the Rebellion's task more difficult still.
On Tatooine, a young man known as Luke Skywalker has completed the year's moisture harvest. With his Uncle's blessing, Luke leaves a year late for the Imperial Academy, hoping that becoming a pilot will allow him to see more of the galaxy, even if he doesn't agree with the moral views of the Empire itself. As he leaves Tatooine to report for his assignment, a strange old hermit named Ben Kenobi tries to stop him, to convince him that this is not his path. But Luke is tired of being told no, and gives the man's warning little purchase in his mind..
We are a VERY AU roleplay site, set in the early New Hope era. However, hope has all but disappeared from our galaxy. Galen Erso's message was never delivered to the rebels due to the insanity of Saw Gerrera. Therefore no weakness in the Death Star was discovered. Luke Skywalker never met the droids that would set his destiny on track, and instead leaves home to enroll in the Imperial Navy. Princess Leia's home planet of Alderaan was inadvertently saved by these actions, as she was never captured. Instead the Empire, in a rare show of mercy, publicly showed off the weapon in it's first true test, by destroying Hoth. As a result, nearly all star systems now publicly support the Empire out of fear, while the rebellion is led by Mon Mothma in secret.
Set during the events of Rogue One and New Hope, Have You Felt It? is a literate, mature RP, rated 18+ and with a word count of 300.
