We're a battle calculator free pokemon mystery dungeon roleplay that doesn't pester you to keep track of hunger, power points, or paths in a dungeon as we are focused on the roleplay more so than the mechanics. Characters can be anything from a representative of their country to a lowly outlaw that's just trying to get by. We have our own lore and an entire section called "The Encyclopedia" dedicated to explaining the world around our characters that'll be updated more and more as time goes on!
There's a lot of roles to fill in around here so make a character, sit down, and join us as the future of the pokemon world unfolds!

HECK YEAH VIDEO GAMES. Anyways, a fun thread to talk about your favourite games on any platform, what you're currently playing, what you're looking forward to, and so on.
I recently finished the main questline for Horizon: Zero Dawn. Totally didn't cry. I tried dragging it out as long as possible but eventually I wanted to make sure I didn't get spoiled while looking through fanworks, and I really wanted to know how the story ended. I didn't want it to end though. ;_; This game means so much to me. At least there's a very high chance we'll get some DLC! And possibly a sequel!

Playing Spore, Duelyst, Life is Strange, and Final Fantasy XIII on Steam right now. Fire Emblem Conquest on the 3DS. Don't have/use that many consoles, but wish I had a Vita or PS4. Actually, even moreso than that, some virtual reality stuff. B) So if anybody's tried that, please do tell~
Also, I just looked up Horizon: Zero Dawn, and wow the ratings for that game are outstanding. I never heard of it before, but that's pretty coolio~
For all the bad rap people give Spore, it's still a fun game. But maybe that's my nostalgia talking, I'm still gonna enjoy it.
Life is Strange more like Life is SUFFERING. I adore that game, it still haunts me. ;_;
Yeah I have a PSVR too! Super fun. HZD is definitely GOTY material. I'm so glad for an amazing game that's a completely new title and not a sequel, prequel, etc. The story is something really unique. (psst hey hollywood, can you start doing the same now? i want cool new movies with original stories too.)

Looking at Metacritic, they give it an 84/100 but the average user score is 5.3/10. People just don't seem to like the gameplay itself, labeling it as simple and one dimensional. I can see where they're coming from but I am a simple man and like simple things.
I think I've purchased Spore, and it's expansions, like 3 times. *facepalm* Actually the main game 4 times because I had the regular disk and then I got the one with the little artbook. The serial numbers were giving me trouble so I just bought them on Origin but then Origin gave me trouble so I bought them on Steam. The only reliable platform out there for PC gaming. xD
LIS: Mmmm how can I word things without possibly giving spoilers to curious noses poking around?... Well, at first I chose the "not-sacrifice" option but the ending felt... empty. There was no substance and it didn't feel like the right one. So then I chose the "sacrifice" option and oh my heart. It was so painful but it really did feel like the 'correct' ending. Which is the only nit-picky qualm I have about the game, I think both options should have equally impactful endings BUT I'M JUST A NERD.
I tried out PSVR when I was on vacation, there was a demo at this popular mall and it sealed the deal for me. I personally never got motion sickness but there aren't a lot of games that'll have you strapped in for more than an hour at a time, at least for now. Best titles to pick up are probably RES 7: Biohazard and Batman: Arkham VR.

People were pissed about Spore because of all the grand promises and speeches it got - like the Fable games "you can do annnnnnythiiiiiing!"
LiS flubbed their ending so badly and I'm still angry, it did the same thing that The 100 and OITNB - I trusted those pieces of media not to pull that kind of shit, they marketed themselves as not being that type of story, and they still did it as a huge ~shock value~ middle finger.
man it's just such a shame that it ended so poorly - everything else about the game is great and enjoyable, both to play and to watch others play. If you want a nice fan game you can play for an hour or two, please try out Love is Strange if you haven't already, it nails the aesthetic of the games pretty dang well.
Persona 5 comes out soon, and that Valentia remake, but I'm... not too sure if there's much else I'm looking forward to, or can afford to get lmao rip
