If Fleet noticed how uncomfortable Skyler was at his rather intrusive way of speaking, he was currently ignoring it, "Yeah! Yeah! The-the Lutetia people, they're strong, found me and now I'm strong too!" He found this country was nice, with its many dungeons and many Pokemon, but he still kinda missed Lutetia, with its water and sun.
He gaped down at Skyler, quite obviously surprised at his declaration that he was in the military, "Really? Oh that is cool!" He trotted in place, voice deepening again as excitement gripped him, "It's fantastic! I might see you again and-and we could go into dungeons! You're a nice guy, I think they might let me have a friend!" He suddenly halted, dropping his voice again before it could rise, "Mm-hm, I wanna get to the end, it'll be my first time!"
As if on an order, he stepped toward the grasses and flat plains, "Alright, let's go Skyler!"

"Lutetia, huh? So that means you're from a whole different country than me, a Pokemon born in Invictus." Skyler responded. It was a little bit strange, at first he felt a little uneasy about the bigger Pokemon, but his demeanor was contagious, to say the least. He didn't feel threatened by the Type: Null. He was starting to feel much better about the situation he was in. Perhaps this experience was some sort of lesson being taught to him. In the future he wouldn't just judge a Pokemon based on things such as rumors. Then again, who could blame him? It was better to be safe than sorry.
But that was beside the point! No way did he think that it would be so easy to get Fleet to join him through the rest of the dungeon. He didn't even have to ask the chimera, the Pokemon simply decided on his own. "Right." The avian responded, flapping his wings until he was airborne, finding it much easier to fly around than to walk on his two feet. He was part flying type after all, and using his wings felt much more natural to him! Skyler simply followed the Type: Null, while taking a look at their surroundings to ensure that they weren't in any danger. Not like they really would be put in a life threatening situation. They didn't call this a beginners dungeon for no reason.
The fact that he was able to take out three Pokemon on his own without even getting to the state where his ability, Overgrow kicked in proved it. Granted, he did have some struggles in his previous battles, unlike his newfound companion, but he was still up and running.
It didn't take too long until sounds of hooves slamming against the ground could be heard! To be more specific, the sounds were getting louder and louder signaling that a feral was headed in their direction!
"Look out!" Skyler cried out, spotting the wild Pokemon before flying to the side just in time to avoid getting hit. The only thing he could make out was a big afro as he avoided the Pokemon. It wasn't until it skidded to a stop that he could clearly make out the Pokemon.
Bouffalant | Level 15
It was a bovine Pokemon with what looked to be an afro on its head. Not to mention that the feral had two large, curving horns with what looked to be two rings on each of them protruding from its afro. To say the least, the Pokemon wasn't to be mistaken with a Tauros, especially when it was much bigger in size.
Skyler was pretty sure that the Pokemon was here for a fight, like all ferals roaming around the dungeons did. Rather than go for an attack against the attacker, the owl couldn't help but look towards the direction of Fleet, to see if he too managed to avoid the Bouffalant.

Fleet stared upward a moment, invisibly smiling as Skyler flew above him. This was good, this was great! He just made a friend! He didn't have friends currently, not in Invictus, so he was pretty sure that this should be marked as some kind of milestone!
He set off at a faster pace than before, trusting that whatever ends he couldn't see were being covered by Skyler. The grasses tickled his neck and chest, and even though his pierced shoulder started to demand attention, he continued to run ahead with no real regard for his body.
He noticed the ground rumbling first, trembling up through his claws and clambering up his muscles, sending him all a tremble. Skyler's shout cinched it, and his head whipped to take in his charging opponent. Couldn't outrun on an injured shoulder, especially if that dark energy was a Pursuit, which he was pretty sure it was. He also couldn't go over, that mane of hair would definitely stop him. He was too big to execute a complete dodge at this distance, he just had to reduce it.
His claws dug into the ground and he hurled himself to the side, closing his mouth and shifting his uninjured flank forward as he prepared for impact. The fur softened the blow only slightly before he was flung away, twisting to land on his feet. His claws yet again flowed with energy and he swiped at its flank before jumping away, deciding not to risk another attack.

He should have realized that although the quadruped Pokemon was way bigger and stronger than him, it didn't mean that Fleet had the speed necessary to avoid the attack. Not only that but Skyler did have the advantage, being able to see from above. Although Skyler had to admit, it was amazing to see his companion take on the Bouffalant's Pursuit attack.
The feral's eyes widened as soon as it saw its opponents claws swipe towards it. Attempting to position its afro to meet the incoming attack, it was too late for the bovine-like Pokemon to fully cushion the blow. The only thing it could do was let out a roar of agony as the claws successfully raked against the right side of his body. However, the attack wasn't enough to knock the Pokemon out completely, which was quite obvious when the Pokemon charged forward towards Fleet in a fit of rage, its body glowing red signaling that it was using yet another attack.
Rather than allowing the Type: Null to take another hit, or even avoid the attack, the avian began to focus his energy. It didn't take too long for glowing leaves to form around his body, in a spiral-like fashion, before a gust of leaves was launched in between the two big Pokemon, causing the Bouffalant to skid to a halt just in time to avoid taking damage.
Although Skyler wasn't too worried about it. What he was worried about was whether or not he was getting in the Type: Null's way. Was it better if he just stayed back and allowed the Pokemon to battle the Bouffalant without having to worry about his attacks accidentally striking his comrade?
"Could you keep it busy for a bit?" Skyler asked, a plan forming in his head. Instead of waiting for Fleet's response, the avian simply began to produce what looked to be golden orbs around his body, seemingly waiting for the opportunity to strike at his foe.

Fleet set his stance, ready to take another controlled hit if it meant getting the chance to bloody his claws again. However, he got a pleasant surprise in the form of a whirlwind of leaves, forcing the buffalo-like Pokemon to stumble back and snorted in rage. Fleet couldn't help the deep laughter that bubbled from his throat, "Hehe! Amazing!" The feral glared daggers at him, throwing up a cloud of dirt as it pawed the ground fretfully.
Fleet half heard the question, yet nodded his consent, rattling his mask back and forth and letting out a sharp bark. The Bouffalant bellowed and charged, moving in much the same way it had started the battle in. Fleet wasted no time, focusing right on the beast as his eyes flashed very briefly pink. The Imprison took place instantly, and the feral grumbled in confusion as the dark energy enveloping it suddenly vanished. Unlike what Fleet expected, it didn't falter, angling it's horns toward him and jabbing at him with surprisingly excellent precision.
He clawed at the first few jabs, neither making much contact as the Bouffalant grazed him and Fleet ripped off chunks of its fur. Whatever Skyler was planning had better be soon!

Was there anything that Fleet took serious? Probably not... It didn't matter either as long as he didn't underestimate his opponent and got himself into deep trouble. But at the same time it made Skyler question whether or not he was helping out in the battle, especially when the two bigger Pokemon were in the middle of clashing claw and horn which only further demonstrated to him that his attempts to separate the two from another didn't last that long.
Either way, there was no time to regret. His Confuse Ray attack was ready to be released towards the bovine-like Pokemon. Instead of his ordinary Confuse Ray where his eyes lit up when an enemy Pokemon was looking for him, the Rowlet decided to use the attack differently. Three bright, golden orbs circled around his body which were all launched consecutively once he swung his wings forward. Once the orbs were near the Bouffalant, they circled around it before colliding with the feral before exploding in a flash of white light.
The Pokemon didn't see the attack coming. Once the bright light vanished, it could be seen thrashing about aimlessly, demonstrating that the Confuse Ray was a success. "Sorry for the wait!" The avian called out to Fleet, grinning. Skyler was almost certain that this battle was theirs for the taking. It really was easier to travel through the dungeon with other Pokemon.

Fleet blinked, dazzled, as the Confuse Ray's light engulfed his vision momentarily. Thankfully, he wasn't the target, and a twisted smirk, hidden by his mask, twisted his face as he watched it wander around with a dazed expression.
Ignoring the pain in his shoulder, he thrust himself forward in a Tackle, toppling the formerly mighty beast like a colossal tree. It swung it's head roughly but missed by a mile, only succeeding in falling even faster and slamming it's head painfully onto the unforgiving dirt.
Fleet let out a tremendous bellow as he raised a paw and smashed the Bouffalant in the face, further dating it and leaving it crumpled on the floor. "Great. Nice one Skyler!" Generally, it looked like he barely acknowledged the fight, shaking himself out and continuing his walk like nothing happened. The only difference was that he now kept his head upwards, watching the avian fly...he wished he could fly...

Skyler couldn't help but feel relieved that his Confuse Ray attack managed to work on the feral Bouffalant. He wouldn't know what he would have done if he accidentally missed his shot and hit Fleet instead. If that were to have happened, then he would have essentially been getting in the Pokemon's way.
It was quite strange though. Although the Type: Null had taken even more damage in this encounter much like he did in his little battle against the Nidoran, the Pokemon didn't seem like he was hurt. In fact, it was almost as if the Pokemon didn't care that a battle occurred, and instead continued onwards without a care in the world. "Y-Yeah, you too." Skyler replied, unsure if he was much of any help in the battle against the Bouffalant. After all it was the chimera-like Pokemon who took the full force of the attacks and dealt the needed damage to take out the feral.
His Confuse Ray simply prevented Fleet from taking even more damage. And even then, there was still the chance that the Bouffalant's attack could have come in contact with Fleet even while it was confused. Shaking his head from side to side, the Pokemon decided to focus his attention on the area around him. Since he was essentially the eyes for both himself and Fleet, he had to be certain that he could see if any ferals were around.
"I don't see anything yet." Skyler called out to the Type: Null in order to make sure that the Pokemon knew that he was keeping a close eye on their surroundings. But even with his ability to fly and get a better view of his surroundings, there was still the possibility that he could have missed any possible threats.

Now, it would be a mistake to assume Fleet wasn't injured, just as it would be a mistake to assume he didn't feel any pain. No, his shoulder started in a way that made him want to rage and roar, and the way his body ached he just knew bruises were going to be all over his chest later. He just got very good at ignoring these conditions, it was far funnier to smile and walk it off, cooler looking too. So that's what he was doing. While the Rowlet was dealing with the sky, there was still the issue with the ground...specifically, under Fleet's feet. He looked down with a nearly bored expression as the ground started rumbling, only perking up as a shape burst from its nearly invisible perch, right for Skyler, " Whoa-ho! Watch out! We got a good ones!" Level 15 Level 15 The shape bursting from the ground zoomed right for Skyler with its wings spread, letting out a shrill whistle. Fleet jumped up right as a drill zoomed through the ground. It spun like a top, but Fleet spun away even faster, growling long and low. He snorted and swiped at the ambushing mole, only to find it way too fast and swung faster, opening up his paw. A shocked gasp echoed through Fleet's mask and evolved into a harsh peal of laughter, this was going to be fun! @skyler,

Everything seemed to happen so fast that it was all a blur to Skyler. One second he was flying peacefully, and then the next all sorts of crazy things occurred! The only thing he was able to see was the fast figure speeding towards him. Before he could even think about dodging whatever was headed his way, the Pokemon collided into him, practically knocking the air out of him and sending him spiraling towards the ground. Just as if it seemed like he was going to hit his ground, he was able to regain control of himself.
He felt the tall grass brushing against his small body as he flew back up into the air to meet his attacker, unable to take the time to see how Fleet was doing with his opponent in fear that the flying type feral would use it as a way to get another attack in on him. While he should have been expecting something surprisng as this to occur, he kind of wished that the two feral Pokemon took the more obvious approach like the two electric type siblings he fought earlier did.
"No use dwelling on it any further..." The avian thought, before letting out a sigh.
This particular dungeon might have been one for beginners, he had to admit that the feral Pokemon residing in it were strong and clever. Rather than going straight for a damaging attack, Skyler let out a growl which appeared to be effective judging by the expression on the Tailow's face.
Or did it simply rile out his opponent instead? The next thing the Rowlet could see was the bird coming straight for him with its beak glowing white, signaling that it was going for a peck attack! Rather than panicking due to the attack being super effective against him, Skyler stood his ground, watching his opponents movements closely.
At the last second he flew up above the Tailow, avoiding the attack just in time before countering with a volley of kicks!1 He could feel his kicks making contact with his fellow flying type's body, and before Skyler knew it, the feral was spiraling down straight to the ground!
Unfortunately for him, the feral managed to recover before flying back up into the air in the nick of time before it hit the ground. Who knew battling other flying type Pokemon could be so much fun?

Fleet shook his paw out, scattering scarlet droplets, and pressed it against his chest. He didn't dare set it down right now, the throbbed pain was too acute at the moment. Instead, he threw himself forward, using his back legs to get the proper momentum.
The Drillbur scrambled backwards, to no avail as Fleet snarled and threw it back with a violent movement, hopping around on three legs. His opponent grabbed a hold of him and drew it's claws, seemingly realizing the cuts affected Fleet far more than any bruises. He thrust his head forward, clenching his jaws as a nauseating screech rang out as the claws ran down his mask. Some blows still fell around his neck before he threw himself to the side, clawing at the Drillbur. His claws made contact and he pushed away, snarling and, if he could, spitting.
The Drillbur limped but refused to run, face twisted in hatred...good...

It didn't take too long for the feral to start coming at him with its beak glowing brightly once again, signaling that it was attempting to use yet another super effective attack against him. However, there was still a good distance between both himself and the Tailow, which meant that he had time to use an attack to counter the Pokemon! Letting out a sigh, he began to produce a flurry of leaves seemingly out of thin air. Skyler could feel the wind around him blowing harshly as the leaves spiraled around him.
It seemed like just using the attack caught the feral by surprise, made obvious by the flying type Pokemon stopping straight in its tracks with its eyes wide open in surprise. The Pokemon didn't know what had hit it as the spiral of leaves were all launched towards it, tearing through the Pokemon's body as they engulfed the poor creature. All the avian could hear were screams of pain, and once the leaves subsided, the Tailow was left falling straight towards the ground once more.
Unfortunately the Leafage attack wasn't one that was super effective, which meant that the feral was able to recover quite quickly despite being hurt by the attack. It didn't take too long for the Pokemon to come speeding towards him, surrounded by some type of white energy.
The attack was too quick for him to avoid. All Skyler could do was brace himself for the attack, and that is exactly what he did. He felt his opponents entire body crash into him, sending him flying backwards for a few seconds until Skyler forced himself to a stop. He was almost certain that if this battle went on, he would be the one to lose the fight unless he was able to outsmart his opponent in some shape or form. It was because of this that he decided it was probably going to be a wise choice if he put the sleep seed he picked up earlier into good use.
The avian pulled out the seed from his backpack, staring at the feral closely soon afterwards in hopes of predicting the Pokemon's next movements. He had to have good aim as well as some type of distraction to put the seed into good use. He was going to make sure that this battle ended in his next few moves.
