We're a battle calculator free pokemon mystery dungeon roleplay that doesn't pester you to keep track of hunger, power points, or paths in a dungeon as we are focused on the roleplay more so than the mechanics. Characters can be anything from a representative of their country to a lowly outlaw that's just trying to get by. We have our own lore and an entire section called "The Encyclopedia" dedicated to explaining the world around our characters that'll be updated more and more as time goes on!

Since Callie isn't an explorer anymore and isn't really built for dungeons, i would 100% be willing to slap him into Pipe Dream Dungeon just cause I'm a masochist.
Problem is, I don't wanna do almost 1500 posts on my own (15 posts a page x 99 pages is 1485 posts....). I'm also CERTAINLY not doing it solo, cause that's 500 words each, and that would be over 742500 Words on my own. Do you know how long the average novel is? About 60000 words. That would be about 12 and a half novels worth of words in one thread for one person, so screw that.
So if anyone wants to slap a character (or two or three, more people, the less work it is on us!) that won't be dungeon crawling much into action and need something to do, post here and let's see if we can call Wicked's bluff and beat the dungeon. >:u
Like we were discussing down in the cbox, I would loveeee to tackle on the treacherous Pipe Dream Dungeon! Although I don't think that it'll be with Skyler as I'm not willing for him to be stuck in the dungeon and stuff...Maybe with another character though!

Keep in mind your level and moveset can not be changed once we enter the dungeon. I recommend doing some Bliblio runs for a larger move pool before heading into the Pipe Dream.
as for me, I'd like to play a character that's had their arm twisted into continuing to help out, a very dry and annoyed individual who is in charge of making sure no one falls into a hole or gets crushed by a rock. Someone who has been hired for one job but it just keeps going, and they won't admit it but they can't stand the thought of leaving the weenies to die by accident.
As for species, probs something like... electabuzz, audino, cyndaquil or quilava if i can be arsed doing ads again
Also interested. Still brainstorming. Thinking perhaps a Metang struggling with his "feelings." Who follows orders mostly out of habit, who doesn't particularly like or dislike combat or conflict. Who plants flowers sometimes but doesn't understand why, won't be sentimental enough to protect them. Trouble asserting himself and his personal preferences because he doesn't really have any. Could a military or outlaw, a little flexible about this.
Plot arc, also thinking. Kind of want to see who else is actually interested to join first before we think this completely through unless people have already some ideas brewing in their mind~
Biblio runs sound good as well, would be interested.
I actually haven't really thought about all of that much. Since the Pipe Dream Bunker seems like a rather insane thing for just about anyone to do considering how mysterious and seemingly dangerous it could be. So maybe a background could go along the lines of what lead them to want to take on such a dungeon in the first place?
As for a Pokemon species, I was thinking about having a Pokemon that was reincarnated into a Mimikyu, with the strong will of protecting and saving a close loved one from the past from wild Pokemon that attacked them in their home a long time ago, leaving his past self to die and his loved one to being taken. Although with the propaganda going on about ghost type Pokemon then I suppose he would be an outlaw. (Of course, the loved one would be long gone.)
Oh! Since Mimikyu is essentially a ghost type Pokemon that hides under a Pikachu rag, I thought it would be pretty fun somewhere in his history to say that he was a Pikachu in the past. Just happened to be reincarnated into a Pokemon like Mimikyu who kind of resembles a Pikachu.
But if Mimikyu isn't gonna be a good option for what we're trying to do then I wouldn't mind picking another Pokemon species though!
I'm very up to this task Although I will not be using Robyn for this task as her place is somewhere else from Pipe Dream, maybe one day....
But I will be making a new character in order to tackle this. I have a story down for this character although the group is still pending. For species, I plan for it to be a Larvitar outlaw that is a thief and is quite obsessed with finding treasures rather than his own personal safety. The reason he will be exploring dungeons is because earlier in his life, he had possibly lost a loved one who gone insane and joined the other Pokemon and therefore wants to find them. But at the same time, he is interested in the treasures that lie beneath the surface.
I don't have any plotlines.... sorry. But otherwise Biblio runs seem like a very wise idea so I'll definitely be up to doing one~

A group of down on their luck adventurers from less than stellar backgrounds come together to try and turn that lousy luck around. Or maybe they just want a purpose, a goal, an excuse to do something no matter how unrealistic it is.
Rumour of ancient treasures just waiting for someone to claim them brings them to the same corner of Invictus, preparing to raid the Bibliotheca Amaranthine for more information. They may not trust each other, may not have a personal connection - heck, one of them has outright stated they're only here for the money - but damned if they're too stubborn or apathetic to call it quits now.
...and so, our story begins in the streets of Invictus as our would-be Pipe Dream Legends as they argue over supplies, who plays what role in a fight, and whether pinap berries are ok on pizza or not.

The funny thing is though, after the discussion we had yesterday in the cbox I think the background you created goes with what I was planning for a potential character. Rather than going with the good old Mimikyu route, I decided that the Pokemon I will be using is a Pawniard for this Pipe Dream adventure. (Yes, I know another steel type Pokemon which could potentially be a problem if there are fire type Pokemon, but to heck with it.)
If anyone else thinks that this background is good enough too then I'll be more than happy to start working on the application for the character.
Well I'd definetly would go along with Raiden, even if the story does not quite fit. Still, he is someone who would not mind the challenge and would stick with a group of more or less loosely connected Pokémons.
Yo just a heads up in case you weren't around. There's been a slight update to the Pipe Dream dungeon regarding the nature of it. I'll just post it here since you're all the people that's interested in it.
While a character is within this dungeon, no threads taking place after their delve into the bunker may be made. Due to the nature of this dungeon and how deep it is, a character could be in here for an undetermined amount of time and unexpected things could happen to change them in unforeseen ways.
This is just to prevent timeline inconsistencies in case someone decides to do something that would change how their characters would interact.
