Lucifer appears to look rather ordinary at first glance. However, the front edge of his scythe-shaped horn is bloodstained from both his profession and harsh lifestyle. Lucifer is also rather lean and muscular, with most of his bulk consisting of his fur.

Unlike some Pokemon, Lucifer is not a pleasant fellow. He is rather cold and prefers to be alone. Lucifer is more likely to use his ability to predict natural disasters for his own benefit. However, that does not mean he won't help others. Lucifer will only do something for someone else if it benefits him.

He does not trust easy, though. After witnessing a trusted member of his family betray everyone, Lucifer is rather skeptical of strangers that treat him kindly. He feels that these Pokemon are out for themselves, like himself. Lucifer also has a strong belief of "survival of the fittest." He thinks that weak Pokemon should not be allowed to survive. However, there is also a more sinister side to his personality. Due to his upbringing, he has no issues with killing and eating other Pokemon, feral or otherwise.

Lucifer grew up in a rather harsh environment. His family was a band of assassins, thieves and other such Pokemon. Like many of the older generations of Pokemon in Maldrear, Lucifer's parents left him outside overnight when he was a month old. Naturally, he survived and began to learn to be independent. However, his training wasn't easy.

Lucifer was forced to adapt to various situations in the wilderness as his parents believed in a practical approach. He also had to learn to kill without being seen and avoid the authorities. At first, it was a struggle, until Lucifer grew stronger. However, even the most thorough training could not have prepared him for what happened next. One member of the clan was not satisfied with the harsh lifestyle and betrayed the rest of clan to the authorities. As a result, the clan was forced to disband and Lucifer headed off on his own.
