Each class has a different boost to them. It's only upon creation for starting moves, but this is the basic rundown of what you will get with creating a character of this class along with what perks they get. Be sure to read the Pokemon Specific rules. There's also a thread in the Encyclopedia explaining each class in a bit more detail. Please note that ALL pokemon get 1 egg move, so these perks are extras to that.
CIVILIANS
The most common class ICly, anybody can be in this class.
- Civilians get a boost of being able to start with one egg move. If your species of pokemon does not have an egg move then you may get one tutor move (from Generation 7, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon). If you do not get any of the above, then you may have 1 TM of choice.
- Civillians get 500G every month.
MILITARY/EXPLORER
This class is at a tie with outlaws for second most common in the IC world. Anybody can be in this class.
- Cannot be younger than 18 unless they are a Type:Null/Silvally or a Bug!
- Military/Explorers can start at level 15 rather than 10.
- Can take Military Missions.
OUTLAW
This class is at a tie with Military and Explorers for second most common class in the IC world. Anybody can be in this class, however if they are not a pokemon with a short life-span such as a bug or a Type:Null/Silvally then they must be above 18 years.
- Outlaws start with 700 gold.
- Can take Outlaw missions.
POLITICAL FIGURE
While it's the most interesting class, it's the rarest of the group. Type:Null or Silvally are not allowed to be in this category.
- Political Figures can start with a TM of choice, however, if the pokemon cannot learn a TM then it may learn a tutor move of choice (from Generation 7, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon).
- Can take Political Missions. (see Political Mission explanation)
WHITE DAWN
The second rarest group ICly. While a Type:Null cannot be a part of White Dawn, a Silvally can.
- A White Dawn member starts with a Tutor Move(from Generation 7, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon). If they do not get a tutor then they may have a TM.
- Can take Military Missions and gets 250 a month. However, their share of the reward for Military missions is halved.
An important part of a mystery dungeon roleplay is teams of course, but here? Not so much.
WHERE IS THE GUILD?
Invictus does not have an offical guild, but White Dawn and Military classes both act awfully close to one. They are given missions and rewards for doing those missions. There are no ranks here. Any team is considered on equal footing and can take any job. It's generally considered their own fault by the higher ups if they end up getting themselves killed.
White Dawn and Military are both explicitly trained to do these missions, but they're not the only ones with missions. More about these missions will be explained in a post below this one.
MILITARY VS WHITE DAWN
Military and White Dawn are basically the same thing, White Dawn is just a covert task force that blends in with the crowd of military and civilians that works for the Multi-National Security Panel in order to keep the peace going. Military work as a more public force that act as explorers, police, and warriors for war. For more information, read the explanation of character classes in The Encyclopedia.
FORMING A TEAM
As the Military and White Dawn are more blended together they exchange who they work with on a frequent basis. Teams are more often than not a group of friends or a unit that decide to work together frequently. Some do it for the name, while others do it because they do not feel strong enough to go out on their own.
Outlaws can also form their own teams and work together in order to avoid being caught and grow stronger together.
Try not to mix the teams too much and keep in mind there are consequences if say a White Dawn member was found in an Outlaw team.
While Political Figures can create alliances and have more than one representative for each country, they need to climb the political ladder themselves.
To create the team, you just say you're a team. There's not going to be a limit on how many can be in a team, but try to keep characters in one team at a time.
White Dawn and Military both take Explorer Missions while Outlaws take Outlaw Missions. The explorer missions are the typical search and rescue, outlaw beat-em-up, escorts, and item searches. These missions can be found in the town hall, though outlaw missions are only there for the sake of easy access for users and isn't ICly located there.
There is no "ranking" for you to climb as you can take any mission you like so long as you're actually capable of going to the dungeon to actually do the mission. These missions may come with mini-plots for you to build off of, while some are just bare skeletons for you to do what you like with.
Political Leaders have a different set of missions they can do. A politician character can't just be made at the top of the ladder, they have to work to get there!
There are certain missions that are "Mixed" in the sense that it requires more than one class to be present in the thread. Certain requirements must be met and it will be explained in the mission what is expected of the thread. Civilians are incapable of taking missions and cannot reap the rewards of one if they participate in a thread with a mission.
POLITICAL MISSIONS
When you make a political leader, you're basically choosing to make your own country for them to represent. You can ask someone if you could have your leader be from the same country, but it's ultimately up to them. When you make your political figure, they are at the bottom of the ladder as well as the country they represent as it would not make sense for a huge powerful country to just appear out of nowhere. So what do they need to do? Get their publicity out there and get more power. This is done through Political Missions.
Every political mission gives you 1 point, however, a particularly immoral mission will give you more points. Rewards for this class come in the form of reaching milestones. You can get there by taking the moral route, but you're going to have a much easier time joining the dark side.
The milestones are as follows.
MILESTONES
Third World Country 00 - Scrub mode; you can only take missions that earn you 1 or 2 points. 01 - 100 gold 02 - 200 gold 03 - 300 gold 04 - 400 gold 05 - 500 gold and 2 level 1 passes
Second World Country - you can now take missions that give you 5 points. 10 - 600 Gold and 2 level 1 passes 15 - 700 Gold and 1 Force Evolution; if you're already evolved then you get 2 level 2 passes. 20 - 800 Gold and 1 level 2 pass 25 - 900 Gold and 1 Rare Candy 30 - 1,000 and 1 Random Z-Crystal (you're guaranteed something you can use)
First World Country - you can now take missions that give you 10 points and higher. 50 - 1100 and another random Z-Crystal you can give to a person of choice. If nobody, then better start making some friends. 80 - 1200 and 2 rare candy 120 - 1300 and 2 rare candy you can give to someone else 170 - 1400 and 2 mega stones; one for yourself and one for a friend. 250 - 1500 and a Z-Crystal of choice; one for a friend as well. 500 - You gain two NPCs from White Dawn that are personal body guards to assist you in combat and protection. You can level them up individually by having them participate in threads, buy them moves, etc. This doesn't mean you can't have characters be personal guards; this just means you can tack two onto one character and have them be around without the need for the other RPer. They will be 80% of your level with a max of 50.
