Leveling up here isn't based on how much you fight other pokemon in dungeons. Instead, our characters will grow stronger based on pages you've roleplayed. Nearly every post you make contributes to your character's strength. Each page completed in a thread results in 1 page towards your level up count. Once you've reached 3 pages, you can level up. Got a thread that didn't quite make it to that page? Don't worry, the posts you made there will be counted and added to a counter. If you happen to achieve 15 posts in unfinished pages across all your completed threads, you will gain an extra page. If a social thread makes it to 10 posts and your partners happen to bail, you are allowed to continue solo in order to have the page count as a page rather than the solo-post count. Just make sure it's above 500 words!

Sound confusing? Well, that's alright, because a staff member will be keeping track of those for you just like they will keep track of the moves you know on the log. All you need to do is submit a completed or dead thread to the staff member to gain credit for those pages and posts.

There are two ways you can evolve on this forum. You can either evolve by naturally fulfilling the requirements or you can buy the Force Evolution item off of the shop. The force evolution item does what its name suggests and forces the evolution early, although ICly it's just plain evolving and no harmful effects are applied.

Evolution does not heal missing limbs and such, though something like a minor scar would be up to the user since sometimes the pokemon's physical appearance changes so drastically it wouldn't really make sense for them to have to retain a scar.

note; you need to find the item OOCly in order to evolve if you require an item, finding it IC isn't going to do anything.

If your pokemon requires two or more requirements to evolve, they must fulfill ALL of the requirements.

Pokemon that evolve via happiness need 50 pages of roleplay in order to evolve. This can be drastically reduced to 10 by obtaining a Soothe Bell.

Pokemon that evolve via Day/Night only need to have the thread be Day/Night when they evolve. Rockruff's evolutions will also be dependent on the night and day. The same goes for Goodra, you just need to have it rain in the thread.

Pokemon that evolve via learning a certain move just needs to learn it.

Pokemon that evolve by training in a special magnetic field need a Coronet Rock.

Pokemon that evolve by being near an Ice Rock or in the snow need an Icy Rock.

Evolutions with held items need to have their Held Items found like an evolutionary stone.

Trade Pokemon need to find a Link Cable.

Gender-based pokemon need to be the right gender.

Sylveon needs to spend 10 pages with a "close friend." ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Nincada you choose one form, you can choose to make the other form an adoptable that's allowed to be level 20 or take it up as another character.

Pancham need to spend 3 pages around another dark type.

Feebas need a Prism Scale along with it's Link Cable rather than raising beauty.

Mantyke need to spend 3 pages around a remoraid; this CAN be an NPC.

Burmy Females need to be in their respective places for the right cloak.

Tyrogue you are free to choose which to evolve into.

Wurmple you are free to choose which to evolve into.
